We are actively searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute significantly to the development of our digital infrastructure and products. In this role, you’ll be involved in all aspects of software development, from inception to launch, working across the entire web stack. Your work will directly impact user interface design, application logic, and database operations, ultimately enhancing our business operations and user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and expand our web-based projects utilising React and the SilverStripe framework, covering both front-end and back-end development.
• Collaborate closely with our creative design team to deliver intuitive and visually appealing designs.
• Take proactive steps to improve the web platform by introducing new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and resolving any issues that arise.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, swiftly learning and evaluating new technologies independently.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, accompanied by thorough documentation.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable software solutions.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in web development, with a strong foundation in building comprehensive web projects using React.
• Solid understanding of PHP frameworks, with expertise in development patterns crucial for web applications.
• Proficiency in developing responsive web applications that offer a seamless user experience across various devices.
• Strong skills in API development and integration.
• Excellent front-end design abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrating a growth mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and translate design concepts into functional products.

Bonus Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with the SilverStripe framework.
• Proficiency in ElasticSearch.
• Experience with AWS CDK, AWS SDK, and Terraform.
