THE TEAM:

The Operations Technologies team drives the innovation and development of Middle-Office Operations products that provide automation and scale to custodian accounting and third-party market data integrations, reconciliation, transaction management, billing, portfolio performance calculations, client statements, and business reports. We develop features to make MyVest’s Operations team more productive, and we provide the data on which the other teams rely.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

• Java, Web Services (RESTful endpoints), Spring, and Hibernate are technologies you regularly develop products in.
• Proficiency with ETL tools hands-on use while coding.
• Data mining experience, analyzing production data within complex data models to identify edge conditions and related use cases, in order to design and implement expansive solutions that maintain existing requirements and meet new ones.
• You have a deep understanding of relational databases (SQL, Data Modeling) and their integration into complex enterprise products. Furthermore, you excel in optimization strategies to enhance overall system performance.
• As a tech lead, you’ve led complex development projects, owning project plans and holding members of the team accountable for their deliverables.
• You’re experienced developing with NoSQL, ideally Cassandra/CQL, and scalable distributed systems
• You’re dedicated to Test-Driven Development (TDD), demonstrated through a history of seamlessly integrating this approach to guarantee resiliency and good code quality.
