Description
Sseeking a Senior-level Software/Cloud DevOps Engineer for our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) team, who can work closely in an agile development and continuous delivery environment alongside local and global team members. As part of the CI/CD team you will participate in all aspects of continuous integration/delivery as part of the software development lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to implement pipelines, debug and resolve existing issues, support other scrum teams with DevOps issues, as well as work on release management, and on a whole lot of cloud-based technologies related to provisioning, deployment and troubleshooting of cloud resources and deployment of products.

Responsibility:

• Complete lifecycle responsibility of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Software that runs in GCP and Azure
• Supporting and setting up standards for Cloud Applications - For Setting up new pipeline, governance policies, IaC, monitoring, alerts and backup/restore
• Support Local developers’ deployments
• Support release management
• Support all development teams for CI/CD issues
• Ability to work in a Collaborative agile environment with development, product, and QA teams
• Mentor and pair with team members on key initiatives
• Provide cross-functional DevOps support for organizational initiatives
• Architecting GCP solutions that also supports on-prem deployments
• Work on Proof of Concept for new technologies to support the CICD process
• Technical leadership and Managing Key Initiatives
• Work on build pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, Python, etc.
• Develop and deploy IaC pipelines
• Develop and deploy Application and System Test pipelines

Experience & Education

• Masters in Computer Science and 2 years of work experience as a CICD (DevOps) Engineer or Bachelors in Computer Science and 5 years of work experience as a CICD (DevOps) Engineer.
• Overall 7+ Experience in GCP / Azure Cloud design concepts (e.g. Regions, Availability Zones, NSG, VPN, VPC, Subnets, Private/Service end points, Firewall setup)
• 7+ years Hands on experience with setup of Gitlab or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline with Terraform. bash scripts/Python, Groovy.
• 5+ years experience with administration and maintenance of Kubernetes Clusters with backup and blue green deployment strategies
• 5+ years Docker container experience - creation, GCR, deployment using TF, troubleshooting
• 4+ Experience with maintenance in Windows or Linux Virtual machines
• 5+ on Experience in scripting utility tools for task automation with bash shell or python
• 5+ years hands on experience working with Terraform, Ansible, Helm
• 3+ years experience deploying data pipelines in the cloud. Experience working with GCP technologies such as PubSub, DataFlow, Composer and Airflow.
• Understanding of Data Storage platforms in the cloud such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, BigTable, etc.
• Experience in administrating Jenkins or Gitlab in a cloud environment would be a great plus
• Hands on Experience in setting up serverless environment like serverless functions, API Management, NoSQL, etc. would be a great plus
• Experience working on architecture that involves Edge computing and low latency requirements between edge and cloud
• Solutions involving wide range of GCP resources
• Good understanding and experience implementing security measure for cloud-based deployments
• Experience with cost optimization for different deployment architectures
• Monitoring and operational experience
