Lead Engineer: Modern .NET Migration Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer specializing in Modern .NET technologies at the senior level. The ideal candidate should possess 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience and a proven track record of successfully modernizing legacy .NET systems for cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the modernization efforts of legacy .NET applications to make them cloud-ready, focusing on .NET Core and Modern .NET technologies.
• Work closely with the team to migrate old systems to schemaless databases (document databases) for improved scalability and performance.
• Implement and optimize data pipelines, ensuring smooth transition from existing databases to new cloud-based solutions.
• Analyze existing use cases for data pipelines and design efficient access layers for new pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to migrate client code to utilize the new data pipelines effectively.
• Produce comprehensive documentation to support future maintenance and enhancements of the developed solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 to 6 years of experience as a .NET software engineer with a focus on cloud migration and modernization.
• Proficiency in .NET Core and Modern .NET frameworks is a must.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, with preference given to candidates experienced in GCP.
• Experience with schemaless databases and data migration strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
