What you’ll do:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client’s E-Commerce platform. You will provide technical leadership, guiding your team through complex challenges while fostering a collaborative environment. Your expertise will be highly valued as you take ownership of the end-to-end technical solution, ensuring security best practices are adhered to and integration patterns are optimised. You will also have the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy reference services and GitLab pipelines to address critical problem areas. This role requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.

• Provide technical guidance and lead the development of the E-Commerce Solution
• Oversee technical domain architecture and application development activities on Salesforce platforms
• Cultivate strong relationships with business users and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
• Collaborate with the functional team to determine the most optimal implementation approach
• Take ownership of the end-to-end technical solution, providing insights on security best practices and integration patterns
• Design, develop, and deploy reference services and GitLab pipelines to address critical problem areas
• Review and integrate all application requirements, applying engineering best practices such as Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps

• Degree in Software or Systems Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in E-Commerce implementation and consulting
• Hands-on experience as a Senior Developer
• Strong application development skills and comprehensive understanding of microservice technologies
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing
• Expertise in working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with infrastructure build and automation tools and container orchestration technologies
