WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the Digital team by contributing across the technology stack. Your role will cover the end-to-end development of web and native applications as well as the improvement and maintenance of future applications. You will utilise your expertise in .NET, Angular, RESTful API, SQL, AWS to design and develop business logic, backend systems, functional APIs while ensuring high-quality code. Your ability to challenge ideas and opinions will help avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.

• Use Agile engineering practices and various software development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the technology stack
• Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the product
• Design and develop functional, performing, and complete APIs
• Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code
• Write both unit and integration tests
• Develop automation tools for daily tasks
• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions

The ideal Senior Software Engineer candidate brings a minimum of five years’ recent commercial experience in .NET along with a tertiary qualification in Computer Science or similar field. You have proven experience with C#, .Net Core, .Net Framework, Angular, RESTful API, SQL, AWS. Your ability to design and develop business logic as well as backend systems of the product is essential. You have a track record of developing high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code. Your experience in writing both unit and integration tests and developing automation tools for daily tasks will be highly valued.

• Minimum 5 years of recent .NET commercial experience
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar
• Minimum 5 years of recent commercial experience with C#, .Net Core, .Net Framework, Angular, RESTful API, SQL and AWS
• Experience in designing and developing business logic and backend systems of the product
• Experience in designing and developing functional, performing, and complete APIs
• Proven ability to develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code
• Experience writing both unit and integration tests
• Experience developing automation tools for daily task
