SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER- THIS JOB IS BASED OUT OF COLORADO- US

As a Senior Software Developer-

  • Work on various systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve problems from end to end.
  • Design, build, and maintain frontend web applications, backend APIs, and data pipelines.
  • Assume technical ownership of entire projects, systems, applications, and services.
  • Build new features for internal and external users.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Uphold our high engineering standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • BS in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in geospatial software engineering, including cloud data

pipelines, data architecture, event-driven architecture, and automation.

  • Experience with any or all of the following: Python, SQL, Javascript, HTML/CSS,

Vue/React, REST APIs, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud.

  • Experience with Remote Sensing and Geospatial datasets, formats, schemas, and

processing.

  • Experience with GIS libraries (e.g. GDAL, Rasterio, Shapely, GeoPandas, etc.)
  • Experience with collaborative platforms (e.g. GitHub, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and statistical models.
  • Knowledge of cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure) infrastructure (GCP preferred).
  • Thriving in a fast-paced and collaborative environment that iterates quickly on new

ideas.

  • Desire to develop the best industry software development skills while building an

impactful product.
