REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in C/C++
  • Experience working on microcontroller-based systems (ARM, RISC, etc)
  • Intimate knowledge of RTOS
  • Familiar with intimate details of at least one wireless protocol (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular etc)
  • Knowledge of serial protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving approach and a strong desire to the see the customer succeed
  • Experience working with customers and/or strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work on own initiative to come with up with innovative solutions. English proficiency required
  • Ability to plan and deliver to tight schedules and be self-motivated
  • Some international travel can be expected
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (BENEFIT)

  • Experience with FreeRTOS
  • Familiarity with AUTOSAR
  • Experience in other programming languages such as python
  • Experience working with UWB
  • Knowledge of evaluation RF performance
  • Understanding of automotive customers, systems and design cycles
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analysers, Multimeters and Power Supplies)
  • Experience working with high volume customers leading to successful production ramp

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Tier 1 customers on software and hardware aspects of design
  • Work closely with software development team to debug customer issues
  • Support customers with system design validation and debug from prototype to successful mass production ramp.
  • Review customer schematics and PCB layouts
  • Reproduce and solve technical issues seen on customer platforms in the laboratory
  • Work alongside sales and marketing teams to provide pre-design-in sales promotion support. Presenting UWB technology to customers, assessing customers technical requirements and proposing appropriate solutions to meet those requirements. Prior customer presentation skills and experience, using PowerPoint slides, in a similar context, a plus.
  • Liaise between Qorvo UWB Corporate Teams and customer from concept to mass production
