Responsibilities:

We are about to launch a brand-new engineering hub in Germany. Several new engineering teams within the area of payments will be created from scratch in our Dreilinden office close to Berlin. We are looking for a Senior Software Manager (d/f/m) who will lead one of these new teams and who can help us build exciting products for our financial services at eBay.
You will be working on new payment experiences for millions of customers. The team’s aim is to design experiences for sellers that make understanding finances easier and enable seamless business operations. You will lead a front-end focused team of full-stack engineers developing modern Javascript front-end applications, new features for our native iOS/Android app, and Java based backend web applications. You will steer the team on both personal and technical aspects, define the technical roadmap, create system designs, and help your team members to grow and succeed in their careers. In this role, you will work closely with designers, product managers and other engineers to provide a magical experience and drive higher customer satisfaction.
It’s a unique opportunity to be part of a new team based on a collaborative, transparent and highly technical team culture.
