Description:
RemoteStar is looking to hire a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer on behalf of our client in Spain.
Location: Hybrid working with offices either in Madrid/Barcelona
Client Details:
Leading SaaS tech company , specialising in mobile-supported business process automation with a significant presence in the USA, Mexico, the UK, and Greece. Their global footprint is expanding, with projects in over 27 countries and a user base exceeding 100,000. They are expanding their business in Spain.
Role: We are seeking a QA Engineer (80% Manual / 20% Automation), with strong analytical abilities, toto own an important set of responsibilities from test development and test executing, to support agile teams in building user stories and promoting improvements in test processes.
Requirements
Education
A degree in information technology-related fields (Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related);
Languages
Fluent English
Spanish is a plus,
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in develop and execute functional and non-functional tests
Knowledge in registering test execution results in a testing control tool
Knowledge of programming logic
Strong understanding of SQL language
Develop and execute functional and non-functional tests
Familiarity with a testing tool, such as qTest, Testlink, Jira (Zephyr Scale)
Experience in mobile (Android, IOS) and WEB tests
Experience in Agile projects
Experience in writing technical documentation
Nice to have
Knowledge in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin syntax
Knowledge of MS SQL Server relational databases
Familiarity with requirements gathering
Validate and approve requirements to ensure product quality
Study business rules related to system objectives and scope
Identify and document improvements in tested requirements
Recognize enhancements in the testing process
Demonstrate alternative solutions
Understanding of testing methodologies like TMMi and test-related activities
Proficiency in automated testing with TDD
Estimation of functionalities to be tested
Willingness to work in highly dynamic and flexible environments and agile practices
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Quick learner with an interest in new technologies
