JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applications Operations Services & Quality Engineering (AOSQE) is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer with ETL, API, mainframe, and automation testing skills to join the Data Testing Chapter. The successful candidate acts as the Quality Advocate and is responsible to ensure the delivery of quality solutions to our clients through testing.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Familiarity with Python
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and planning skills
  • Experience with mainframe technology, including IMS database
  • Strong focus on the customer
  • Experience with qTest or similar test management tool, JIRA
  • Experience with Tricentis Tosca automation tools

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Quality Engineering representative on an agile team
  • Deliver testing services on the Experience Platform, involving systems such as mainframe, relational databases, IMS databases, Kafka, MongoDB, and APIs
  • Support an automation-first approach to testing, leveraging tools such as Robot framework (Python knowledge is an asset), Tricentis Tosca, ReadyAPI, and Jenkins
  • Leverage a test-driven development (TDD) approach to testing
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset
  • Report status of testing to varied audiences
  • Collaborate closely with scrum master, product owner, software engineers, business analysts. and non-functional testing teams (i.e. vulnerability and performance testing)
