We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Senior Solution Architect/Delivery Lead focused on our Salesforce and CPQ ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our Salesforce and CPQ systems, from system architecture design and implementation to ongoing optimization and evolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and others to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership:

  • Design and maintain the overall architecture of our Salesforce platform, Sales Cloud, and CPQ ecosystem, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Lead the implementation of best practices and standards for Salesforce development, customization, and integration.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Understand the expanded go-to-market space and its key processes/integrations upstream of Salesforce, with Marketing, and downstream, with Product and Finance teams.

Technical Expertise:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce and CPQ, providing guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on development and customization of Salesforce solutions, including Apex coding, Lightning components, and Visualforce pages.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.

Project Delivery:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of Salesforce and CPQ projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and developers to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with executives, business users, and IT teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their expertise and resources as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive ongoing optimization and enhancement of our Salesforce and CPQ systems to improve system performance, efficiency, usability, and ROI.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for automation, integration, and process improvement to streamline business operations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Salesforce development and CPQ configuration, recommending new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration, including extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified Application Architect, or Certified System Architect are preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex Salesforce and CPQ implementation projects from concept to delivery.
  • Strong technical skills in Salesforce platform development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and integration capabilities.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Agile Central.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with channel partners and direct sales motions in tandem is a plus.
