Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

We’re searching for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

  • Strong experience as a Solution Architect and knowledge of the latest tech stacks in cloud, systems integration, and automation. Having worked with lab systems is a plus.
  • Experience from Event Driven Architecture, Metadata management, API management platform. Experience with AWS & Azure is a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern development practices, DevOps and MLOPS machine learning deployments.
  • A Secure by Design mindset, to ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Proven expertise in seamlessly integrating cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS, with operational technologies (OT) and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to foster scalable, secure, and efficient lab environments.

Good ability to maintain dialog with various stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, understanding the problems, and suggest innovative solutions to our researchers and scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the architecture design, data flows and integrations in our research laboratories and cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide architectural overview and guidance to projects/activities and the researchers within the Oxford site.
  • Participate in work with the Target Architectural Framework and take responsibility for the data integration by ensuring scalability, security, and reliability while identifying and prioritizing technical initiatives.
  • Participate in design discussions with our developer team in Oxford and London.
  • Work closely with architect colleagues from Måløv in Denmark, to ensure that domain architecture principles, guidelines, and best practices are constantly established, evolved, and aligned across DD&IT globally
