We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist (12-month fixed term contract) to join our team in Canada.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • High degree of business ethics and accountability.
  • Relationship management skills, including with senior executives.
  • Exceptional team leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Category Management and Sourcing experience, including deep understanding of Strategic Sourcing best practices, creation and execution of category sourcing strategies and plans.
  • Recognized as having broad or advanced knowledge related to in-scope categories with a focus in Technology, Professional Services, Banking, Human Resources or Real Estate.
  • Detail oriented without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Ability to adapt an agile mindset with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced continually evolving environment.
  • Ability to maintain perspective and confidence in face of difficult contract negotiations, tight deadlines and client expectations.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision, exercise independent judgment and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to foster and motivate cross functional team engagement when leading and negotiating major transactions.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with procurement ERP systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/commerce, MBA, LLB, Engineering or Supply Chain management preferred.
  • Professional designation in Supply Chain Management is preferred (PMAC SCMP / CPP, ISM or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6 years of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management experience, previous program or project management experience as well as strong knowledge of business processes, internal controls, and improvement initiatives.
  • Global mindset required; global experience preferred.
  • Applicants have to be legally eligible to work in Canada.
