Description:

Provide sourcing services to the various lines of business. Represent and be the liaison for the Procurement & Sourcing Group in all relevant initiatives. The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for strategic sourcing and contracting for multiple sourcing categories (including IT services and professional services). The responsibilities include:

  • Manage administration of contracts through the ability to track, analyze, aggregate, and report necessary information. This includes: Key milestones, incentives, notifications, commencement and expiration dates of agreements, support contact information, and collecting information to determine the company’s needs before negotiations.
  • Develop and administer standard agreement templates including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Standard contracts, and Statements of Work.
  • Conduct first level contract review to ensure key terms and conditions are incorporated and liaise with in-house legal counsel, InfoSecurity and Insurance in the review and final approval of contracts and renewals.
  • Redline and edit contract language, suggest alternate terms based on the needs of the engagement/stakeholder, as needed.
  • Contribute to negotiations as liaison between internal and external personnel including in discussions on key contract terms, conditions, and pricing as required.
  • Accurately capture contracts details in Procurement systems to ensure information is properly maintain in our contract repository system (includes updates).
  • Maintain and facilitate proactive planning and contract management meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Manage projects and objectives to ensure commitments are met in a timely manner and projects/contracts are delivered within defined SLA objectives.
  • Work closely with internal business partners by providing responsive and clear communications regarding projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and/or executing a sourcing and procurement category strategy aligned with the Sourcing groups’ objectives

Qualifications:

  • Experience with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contract terms and recognizing and limiting risk
  • Experience with reviewing, drafting, and leading Requests for Proposals (RFP)
  • Ability to review and analyse contracts and SOWs working with Legal, Information Security, and Insurance as necessary
  • Experience in initiating, developing and executing sourcing strategies
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams and keeping management apprised of projects and initiatives
  • Exceptional relationship management skills to effectively shape strategic solutions with stakeholders and key suppliers
  • Excellent influencing skills and experience of managing multiple and diverse stakeholder groups in a major complex organization
  • Strong change management experience and delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as interpersonal skills, in order to effectively build relationships with internal and external clients, present business recommendation
  • Experience in multiple sourcing categories is a plus (IT Services, Professional Services, etc.)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English a must
  • Experience in the financial services industry a plus
  • 5-7 years of Sourcing experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business (or equivalent) from an accredited college/university.
