As the Senior Sous Chef at Josef Chromy, you will work side by side with our Head Chef to lead our team in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Josef Chromy Wines hosts one of Tasmania’s premiere winery, restaurant and cellar door operations.
We are an award winning restaurant space overlooking the cool climate vines and stunning grounds. Operating a large modern kitchen with lots of great quality, modern equipment. We craft every dish with heart and honesty, using only the best local produce available, from farmers with the best ethical practices.
You will join a friendly, collaborative and supportive work culture, and can also look forward to a great lifestyle as we are an a la carte lunch only restaurant, opening only on evenings for pop up events, weddings and functions.
Our Kitchen leadership team has clear objectives across both preparation and service delivery, this gives us a goal to work towards and the satisfaction of meeting the mark.
As the Senior Sous Chef at Josef Chromy, you will be running the brigade for a la carte and function services, overseeing all kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence, and also cooking busy services on multiple sections, when required.
