Job Summary
Sustainability is one of DKSH’s five values. We take responsibility for the environmental, social, and economic impact of our business activities. The DKSH Sustainability Strategy comprises four objectives: enable our people to flourish, make our value chains more sustainable, become climate-neutral by 2030, and make a positive local impact. As Senior Specialist, Group Sustainability, the incumbent will serve as the group sustainability team’s “go-to” expert on human rights and social impact. You will guide your stakeholders on human rights and social impact. You will ensure an impact-driven design and execution of our human rights approach and social impact strategy. This role is instrumental in achieving our objective of making a positive local impact. The incumbent reports to the Director Group Sustainability.
We are flexible for this role to be based in Bangkok (1st priority), Singapore or Malaysia
General Responsibilities
Implement the Global Business Unit HEC Sustainability framework
Create bridges and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external organizations
Drive, lead and support individual initiatives and projects under the sustainability framework and objectives
Support external business sustainability rating agencies (e.g. Ecovadis)
Analyze key performance indicators, draw critical insights and present results
Coordinate with the sustainability champions in all markets Support in department’s business project activities to ensure effective execution and smooth running of these activities
Coordinate, create and update communication materials/sessions to support the flow of information to all relevant stakeholders
Prepare and consolidate information into standard reports/documentations to assist in management reporting
Assist in identifying areas for continuous improvement and growth using creative and innovative research
Compile, distribute and document basic information for internal stakeholders’ use.
Drive self-learning and improvement Functional Skills and Knowledge
Human Rights
Identify, manage and lead the implementation of new projects and processes aimed at embedding human rights further into our business
Strengthen the human rights management system and related due diligence processes further
Develop, collect, and analyze human rights data and indicators
Prepare and potentially lead the human rights working group meetings
Facilitate human rights impact assessments
Conceptualize, organize, and facilitate human rights trainings
Monitor developments and trends in field of business and human rights, especially related to legislation in relevant jurisdictions
Collaborate with colleagues from Business Units, Supply Chain Management, HR, Risk & Compliance, Health & Safety, amongst others.
Social Impact (CSR)
Own the Social Impact Strategy and update/develop further whenever necessary
Execute the Social Impact Strategy on a group level
Develop and manage new third-party strategic partnerships and projects on a group level
Advise Business Units and country management teams on execution of the Social Impact Strategy
Lead data collection process across Business Units and markets
Further responsibilities
Operate as content owner for material issues related to social topics, including sustainability reporting and associated external audit, ratings, as well as further internal and external communication
Support the team regarding sustainability report, ratings, presentations, meeting preparations, communication measures, etc.
Support the general sustainability data collection process. Become familiar with the sustainability database.
Education

Very good project management and conceptual skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ideally 2+ years of working experience, with some exposure to human rights
Familiar with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights
Eager to learn and continuously building up expertise
University degree preferred
