Description:

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is within Supply Chain Development (SCD) function. The Senior Specialist Operations Excellence is a key player to deliver SCM capabilities and driving excellence of the consumer experience by partnering to channel teams and identifying and contributing to the Retail, ECOM and WHLS business process improvements through the development and implementation of supply chain tools & services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes and systems and knowledge of interdependencies between systems and processes
  • Collaborate with business partners to collect inputs, validate scenarios and implement supply chain excellence initiatives.
  • Drive implementation of the required capabilities or projects (e.g., retail delivery windows, value added services, etc.)
  • Perform regular process reviews with key stakeholders for ecom (cancellations, returns, etc.), retail. Prepare process mapping and documentation.
  • Support the execution of cross functional projects related to the continuous improvement of Supply Chain Operations
  • Regular data analysis and identification of performance issues.
  • Collaborate with members of the supply chain team in all clusters to establish holistic and consistent working practices and knowledge-sharing between markets
  • Support Sr. Manager and Director with ad hoc requests outside of standard routine

Key Relationships:

  • Global /regional/local project teams;
  • Global central team (SCM/FIN/IT)
  • Internal contacts include all SCM teams, Channels (ECOM, RT, WHLS), finance, IT, BUs, Purchasing, NTP

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Soft skills:

  • Reliable and motivated team player with strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Reporting and analytical skills, clear attention to details.
  • Ability to think end-to-end and operate cross-functionally.

  • Self-initiated and pro-active mindset

Hard skills:

  • Excellent MS Excel skills: Proficiency in formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques. Ability to manipulate and analyze data sets efficiently.
  • Familiar with BI systems
  • Knowledge of internal systems (MicroStrategy, SAP) is a plus
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills

Requisite Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majored in SCM/Logistics/Finance/IE;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Prior lead of regional projects/teams or work with cross locations/countries teams
  • Prior work in business functions (i.e. Sales, Retail, eCom) is a plus
