Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced education and training (masters degree preferred) in learning design and education assessment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in education including experience in the following areas:
  • designing exams and courses,
  • working with test measurement models,
  • delivery of exams and courses,
  • working with Learning Management Systems,
  • working with psychometricians,
  • creating competency profiles, exam blueprints, study guides, and
  • creating continuing education courses, or other similar education materials,
  • At least 3 years of experience working with the development and implementation of high-stakes assessment instruments and delivery.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry,
  • Experience as a generalist in education,
  • Experience working with the financial industry an asset, not a requirement.

  • Proactive self-starter, with excellent execution skills,
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills,
  • Bilingual in French, an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on:
  • exam design
  • exam delivery,
  • test measurement.
  • Work with education vendors on exam design and delivery, and their psychometricians to ensure their continuous compliance with applicable standards and agreements in meeting our regulatory needs.
  • Work with internal and stakeholders in developing training material and tools linked directly to the proficiency model
  • Understand and make recommendations on the use of latest technologies and the implications (benefits and risk) in exam and curriculum design.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners as it relates to proficiency model.
  • Collect data and report on issues which may affect the proficiency model and its efficiency.
  • Provide support to the Director on proficiency related projects, initiatives and other tasks.
