Description:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Advanced education and training (masters degree preferred) in learning design and education assessment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in education including experience in the following areas:
- designing exams and courses,
- working with test measurement models,
- delivery of exams and courses,
- working with Learning Management Systems,
- working with psychometricians,
- creating competency profiles, exam blueprints, study guides, and
- creating continuing education courses, or other similar education materials,
- At least 3 years of experience working with the development and implementation of high-stakes assessment instruments and delivery.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry,
- Experience as a generalist in education,
- Experience working with the financial industry an asset, not a requirement.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive self-starter, with excellent execution skills,
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills,
- Bilingual in French, an asset

Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise on:
- exam design
- exam delivery,
- test measurement.
- Work with education vendors on exam design and delivery, and their psychometricians to ensure their continuous compliance with applicable standards and agreements in meeting our regulatory needs.
- Work with internal and stakeholders in developing training material and tools linked directly to the proficiency model
- Understand and make recommendations on the use of latest technologies and the implications (benefits and risk) in exam and curriculum design.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners as it relates to proficiency model.
- Collect data and report on issues which may affect the proficiency model and its efficiency.
- Provide support to the Director on proficiency related projects, initiatives and other tasks.
