Description:

Do you have significant Remuneration and Benefits experience and are eagerly looking for your next challenge in a collaborative and supportive team? We have a newly created opportunity available for someone who can hit the ground running as a Senior Reward Specialist, within our Corporate HR team.
In this role you will work closely with the Senior Manager Reward, playing a pivotal role in developing and implementing reward strategies and managing our reward programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This position requires a deep understanding of compensation and benefits strategies, exceptional analytical capabilities, effective collaborate skills across departments and a knack for communication (both verbal and written) and research.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Support the Senior Manager Reward, on preparing papers and associated documentation for People and Remuneration Committee and Board meetings.
  • Develop reward strategies that aligns with business objectives.
  • Provide remuneration consulting support (including market data analysis, position sizing, benchmarking, and position evaluations) to leaders and HR Business Partners.
  • Conduct job evaluations supporting reward recommendations for senior management.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting, including annual reports such as WGEA.
  • Prepare group-wide recommendations on remuneration and benefits initiatives across the organisation.
  • Support with the administration of incentive programs. Monitor changes in legislation and stay abreast of industry trends to support with adjustments to Policy and practices as required.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for superannuation and benefits as required

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree within HR, Psychology, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience within Reward or 2-3 years’ experience in Reward or Remuneration and Benefits combined with several years of HR Generalist or Business Partnering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in an ASX300 company.
  • In-depth knowledge of remuneration principles, including market data analysis, (and use of survey data such as AON, Mercer, Korn Ferry or RemSmart), market data submission, job analysis, salary structures, incentive plans, and pay equity.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesise information effectively.
  • Meticulous with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, workload and delivery to deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills will ideally be paired with data visualisation ability (Power BI preferred)
