Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Specialty Systems Operations Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.
Specific skills required:
5 years of Perl or Shell experience;
5 years of database experience in any two of the following platforms: Informix, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Progress, Couchbase or Hadoop;
5 years of WebSphere experience;
5 years of Linux experience;
5 years of Middleware experience;
3 years of financial industry experience;
2 years of AppDynamic experience;
In depth knowledge of Falcon Fraud Manager;
Experience in Falcon Case Manager, Case Expert and RMA products;
Experience in Direct Connect NDM;
Experience in Couchbase administration; and
Experience in IBM- Security Directory Server

Work within Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology (CSBBT), which offers technology and services that exceed Wells Fargo customers’ expectations and directly enable them to succeed financially. CSBBT impacts customers directly, through systems availability and security, as well as indirectly, through our business partners who offer and deliver a myriad of products and services that meet customers’ financial needs; use analytics and troubleshooting to determines hardware and communication tools to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. Individual will be supporting critical applications. Support will involve production support, software upgrades, application installations etc.; individual will also be part of the 24x7 on-call/pager support; individual will be an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in the resolution of escalated issues and/or complex web related problems; assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.
