Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell’’s Compute and Custom Solutions (CCS) BU is looking for an experienced ASIC design manager to join our growing team developing ASIC products for internal and external data center, wireless, and automotive customers. In this strategic role, you will oversee a talented group of ASIC design engineers focused on developing cutting-edge IP, subsystems, chiplets, and SOCs. What You Can Expect

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in ASIC design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing design teams.
  • Proven expertise in designing ASICs for data centers, wireless communications, and/or automotive systems.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC design tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams.
  • Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of ASIC design engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and performance-oriented environment. Mentor staff members to nurture skills development and professional growth.
  • Project Oversight: Manage all phases of ASIC design projects from concept through to production. Ensure projects are delivered on time, and meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Design and Development: Oversee the design, development, and validation of high-performance ASICs, IPs, and subsystems tailored for data center, wireless, and automotive applications.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to set engineering goals, align projects with business objectives, and advance the company’s market position.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to define product specifications and roadmaps. Ensure engineering solutions effectively address customer needs and market demands.
  • Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company at the forefront of ASIC design. Implement innovative design techniques and tools to enhance productivity and product capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous design verification standards and practices to ensure the reliability and performance of all products. Address and resolve design issues that arise during testing and post-production.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure resources and collaborations are effectively utilized to support project goals.
