Description:
- Contract: ASAP - Nov 2024 (with extensions)
- Pay Rate: $613.00 p/d + Super
- Location: Work from home 2 days, Sydney CBD 3 days.
- You must hold Australian Permanent residency or citizenship and reside in NSW
- Pre Employment Checks: Police Check / 2 x References

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary qualifications in media, marketing or communications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- IAP2 Certification or substantial experience in management of complex communications and/or engagement initiatives.
- Experience in government communication and engagement is essential.
- Proven experience in working within the construction industry is a must.
- Ability to start immediately and hit the ground running.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to networking and industry engagement.
- Experience in event planning and digital communication platforms is preferred.
- Hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the construction industry to support the rollout of policies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with a small, high-functioning team on various projects, including Women in Construction initiatives.
- Provide communication and engagement support, including arranging round tables, and coordinating with stakeholders such as tier 1 contractors (e.g., John Holland, Lend Lease), the Australian Construction Association, and unions.
- Organise planning and preparation work for events and forums, liaising with speakers, drafting intranet articles, and developing presentations.
- Proactively engage in industry searches, staying updated with media articles, and suggesting contacts for collaboration.
- Assist in event planning and development of presentations for internal teams.
