Job Description
+ To design and independent review of design submissions of major structural engineering works.
+ Undertake structural analysis, calculations and prepare design sketches and drawings indicating arrangement and design intent for a variety of transportation structures.
+ Involved in prestressed/post-tension concrete and steel structure design
+ Conduct engineering assessments and evaluations related to existing structures and/or structural alternatives and prepare technical reports documenting the results.
+ Liaise/coordinate with other disciplines/departments in preparation of reports and design packages for multi-disciplinary projects.
+ Communicate with clients, sub consultants, approving agencies, etc. for purposes of obtaining design information, presenting design alternatives, and expediting approvals
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
+ Recognized PE will be advantageous
+ Minimum 7-10 years experience in hands-on design for Structural projects
+ Familiar with prestressed/post-tensioned concrete and steel structure design
+ Familiar with structure framing and element design including steel structure
