KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Hold a degree or master’s in civil engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Structural Engineering within a consulting environment
Proficiency or experience with Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, and programming skills
Familiarity with Singapore Codes and Practices, contract administration, and submission procedures
Exhibit strong design capabilities, coupled with comprehensive engineering skills and knowledge

ABOUT THE SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (INFRASTRUCTURE) ROLE:

A leading consultancy company is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to be responsible for structural design on major projects, producing drawings and reports aligned with structural specifications. This role encompasses small to medium-sized projects and active participation in larger project groups, involving design, technical documentation, cost estimates, tender submissions, project scheduling, and meeting deadlines and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare comprehensive project reports for clients, offering strategic advice on optimal outcomes
Lead technical/design aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to expected quality standards
Engage in project management, client relationship management, and contribute to business development efforts
Undertake hands-on structural design across various projects, including design calculations and review of submitted drawings
Participate in BIM coordination, assisting in implementing project BIM execution plans and collaborating with structural technicians to generate Revit Models
To succeed as the Senior Structural Engineer job, you will need to have in-depth technical knowledge combined with strong infrastructure project management experience.
