About the role
This role leads on a wide range of student experience activities in the King’s Business School. Working alongside our second Senior Student Experience Officer, the post-holder delivers key projects in the areas of student voice, while working collaboratively on broader strategic objectives (such as community building).
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and will be offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months.
We operate a hybrid working policy. The successful candidate will work in our offices in Bush House (Aldwych) for a minimum of two days per week. These days can vary, and also increase, based on operational need and events.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
1. Demonstrable understanding of the current national situation in relation to higher education.
2. Experience of coordinating and leading events and workshops.
3. Demonstrable experience of improving user or student experience.
4. Excellent IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including record-keeping and minute-taking.
5. Ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
6. Demonstrable experience of working effectively and collaboratively as part of a team to enhance the overall quality of a process or experience.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable criteria
1. Ability to analyse large data sets.
2. Educated to degree level or equivalent, or has relevant work experience within the Higher Education sector
