Senior Subcontracts Administrator

Valiant is seeking an experienced Senior Subcontracts Administrator that will support proposal activities and administration of a portfolio of subcontracts under active IDIQ, Cost-Plus and Fixed Price Prime Contracts in accordance with Valiant’s procurement policies and procedures. They will be a strategic business partner to program stakeholders and will support change initiatives and continual enhancement of the procurement function and other supporting tasks as needed.

• Minimum 10 years Procurement experience within a government environment, with at least 8 in a subcontract function, but extra years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to evaluate proposals against SOW/PWS/SOW, demonstrate a working knowledge of FAR/DFARS.
• Ability to mentor & train less experienced peers.
• Has an understanding of government rules and legislation, and small business regulations and definitions; This position requires a strong understanding of the FAR & DFARS as it relates to small business.
