Description:

My client, a developer-builder is looking for a Senior Superintendent who has concrete residential new build experience to come in and build high end multi-family and mixed-use projects.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Looking for a Superintendent with a minimum of 10 years of local experience working for a general contractor or developer-builder
  • Must have residential new build concrete experience
  • Good with software especially Procore
  • Confident in delivering high value project
  • Have the ability to lead and inspire a team

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
  • Monitor the quality of work and materials used on the site. Regular inspections to ensure work is being conducted to the required quality
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits to prevent accidents and mitigate risks.
  • Work in conjunction with the Project Manager to coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Keep stakeholders informed about the progress of the construction project. Prepare regular reports detailing project milestones, budget updates, and any issues or challenges encountered
  • Liaise with project owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure that project objectives are met
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for the construction project and ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process, such as design changes, logistical challenges, or unexpected delays. Implement creative solutions to keep the project on track and within budget
