European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of DHL Group. It is an aircraft maintenance company as well as a cargo airline. The fleet of EAT Leipzig consists of 37 aircraft, including Airbus A300-600, A330-200 and Boeing 757. At present, destinations in Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East are approached. The company currently employs approximately 1200 staff at its bases at Leipzig/Halle airport and in Brussels.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure legal and efficient flight crew coverage,
  • Monitor flight roster legality at all times,
  • Handle ad-hoc operational changes,
  • Track the completion of line training requirements for flight crew,
  • Review and reschedule flight crew rosters in case of flight crew qualification or other given crewing constraints,
  • Maintain published flight crew rosters,
  • Inform flight crew members of flight crew roster changes,
  • Facilitate crew contact as required,
  • Substitute for the task of crew hotel accommodation and travel arrangements in absence of Travel Department,
  • Make other flight crew roster dependent arrangements such as catering orders or jumpseat bookings,
  • Liaise with FOC Duty Manager and/or Senior Supervisor Crew Scheduler about any crewing related issues and solutions for the immediate operations coverage,
  • Prepare daily shift handover reports,
  • Communicate with other departments and incorporate other crewing requirements into flight crew rosters such as flight crew training, office duties, meetings, network capacity planning and fleet projections,
  • Participate in workshops, meetings and projects as required,
  • Perform other administrative tasks as per delegation
