Description:
Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading Civil Construction company, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join their team in Wellington, Western Cape. As a Senior Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing all surveying activities for civil construction projects. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient surveying practices are carried out on site.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Surveying or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in surveying within the civil construction industry
- Proficiency in surveying software and technology such as AutoCAD and GPS
- Prefarably a Western Cape resident
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and write in both English and Afrikaans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience with civil services and infrastructure as well as main pipe lines
Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed surveys of construction sites, including topographical, boundary, and as-built surveys
- Providing accurate measurements and data analysis for the development of construction plans and drawings
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure surveying activities meet project timelines and requirements
- Managing and mentoring junior surveyors to ensure high quality work is completed on site
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and understanding of project objectives
- Staying current with industry trends and advancements in surveying technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in surveying practices
