Description:
SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST, SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION
On behalf of our client, Procom Consultants Group is actively seeking a Senior System Analyst, Software Configuration.
This position will be responsible for assisting with the upgrade Hexagon CAD and MPS applications and their interfaces to external agencies such as BC Ambulance and other non-agency specific interfaces (i.e. 911, ActiveFSP, etc.) and interfaces between other internally hosted applications such as FDM and Telestaff. Work will include configuration, development and deployment of these applications in various environments (i.e. Development, Test, QA, Production etc.). Additional tasks will be to assist in documenting, consolidating and reviewing needs and documenting current architecture environments and help on other ongoing projects.
SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST, SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION MANDATORY SKILLS
- Completion of a university degree at the Bachelor’s level in computer science or a related discipline. Those with diploma or certificate from a recognized postsecondary institute will also be considered
- Minimum 8 years experience in developing and/or implementing and deploying business applications
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in ESRI/GIS or GeoMedia and iMapEditor
- Experience with application development tools and standards as well as general programming and methodologies
- Experience with Server technology and software
- Experience with system integration between business applications and across technical platforms preferred
- Ability to analyze, interpret data and develop solutions
- Preference will be given to someone who has experience with COTS packages and Public Safety applications
