Description:

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, and Planning, the Senior Systems Analyst, Consolidation and Planning is primarily responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimization of the Company’s Consolidation and Planning System (BPC). The role works closely with the Systems Analyst – Consolidation and Planning, IT SAP Finance and BW teams, as well as Corporate External and Internal reporting teams.
The Senior Systems Analyst, Consolidation and Planning, is a critical role that demands a combination of technical expertise and strategic thinking to ensure the accuracy and integrity of consolidated financial data within the dynamic environment of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in managing consolidation and planning systems, preferably in multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency companies; professional accounting designation is advantageous.
  • Extensive expertise in BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and ERP systems, particularly SAP (BPC and ECC).
  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with business unit finance leaders and system users.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages BPC including creation of environment, dimensions, models, master data set-up, script logics, business rules, security profiles, audit logs, member formula, and all other relevant configuration.
  • Designs and maintains reports and input forms required by business units, corporate reporting, tax, and corporate development.
  • Prepares BPC system and resources for quarterly and annual planning, including year-end roll-overs for consolidation, planning, and legal models.
  • Designs and maintains BPC back-up of transaction data, master data, reports and other relevant data, including archiving/purging of data to optimize resources.
  • Works with the SAP BI team to ensure accurate transformation of SAP ECC data to BPC
  • Manages BPC user and data security setup and quarterly reviews
  • Coordinates with internal and external auditors on control requirements to ensure SOX compliance.
