YOUR IDEAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in technical roles, such as Linux and Windows system administration support, virtualization platforms, and devops or software development roles focused on infrastructure provisioning
- Proficiency in scripting, automation, and software development, with focus on Python, Ansible and shell scripting.
- Experience with network automation toolsets and approaches, along with familiarity with network and infrastructure operational system support
- Strong understanding of test frameworks for CI/CD purposes and release automation
- Customer service disposition with a commitment to delivering personalized accountable service
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We’re seeking an experience and delivery-focused Senior Systems Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in automating processes within our operational environment, driving improvements in project and operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Identifying and proposing technical improvements that enhance team and business performance.
- Designing, building, and implementing high-quality solutions with resilience, efficiency, and scalability in mind.
- Promoting modern software engineering practices and providing technical mentoring to team members.
- Architecting, designing, and implementing automation applications/systems to improve service delivery capability and efficiency.
- Collaborating with network engineers to script functions for network provisioning, health checks, troubleshooting, and deployment checks.
- Supporting testing initiatives, user adoption, and operational support for defect resolution.
- Experimenting with AI technologies to identify opportunities for efficiency and customer experience improvement.
