REQUIREMENTS AND RELEVANT INFORMATION:

  • One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.

Responsibilities:

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Lead planning and coordination of complex application packaging and deployments using modern application delivery such as MSIX and App-V
  • Manage and maintain lifecycle of Windows SOE and Applications
  • Create and maintain a contemporary Modern Workplace environment to enable and improve end user experience
  • Create, maintain, and optimise Group policies for desktop and VDI environments
  • Plan and facilitate patching for security and version releases
  • Maintain, lifecycle and optimisation of our end user assets, endpoints and mobile device management systems, operating system images (SOE/MOE), configuration items
  • Maintain an accurate catalogue of End User Computing components
  • Provide 3rd level application and system support
  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune environment
