Description:

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer sciences, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of production support experience in Storage & Backup Administration
  • Expert level knowledge of large-scale Storage Area Network & Systems (NetApp, EMC, HP, IBM & Brocade)
  • SAN / Storage Administration certificationAdvanced to expert knowledge of technologies such as operating systems (AIX, Linux, Windows, VMware)

    The expected starting pay range for this position is $105,000 - $135,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities:

You will be providing Level 3 support to Storage and Backup environment. You will provide engineering and administration support on multiple OS platforms in a multi-vendor environment, while working closely with architecture, application development, database, server, and networking teams. In addition, you will continuously participate in developing, defining, and simplifying processes to improve services. For new initiatives or critical upgrades, you will work closely with Business/Application Development & Engineering teams during project analysis and design phases and with the Operations team during the implementation and post go-live support. Our job is to ensure that every customer has the best experience possible utilizing the storage and backup solutions we provide.
