JOB DESCRIPTION:

IRISNDT has a permanent, full-time position open in our Finance Division for a Senior Systems Intelligence Analyst.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded senior financial analyst to join our finance team. The Senior Intelligence Analyst has in-depth practical experience in the role with repeated practice performing business and system analysis in a variety of complex situations.
This hybrid position would be based out of our Edmonton office (5311 86th Street NW, Edmonton, T6E 5T8), or Calgary Office (123 Forge Rd SE, Calgary, T2H 0S9).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful candidate will, as a minimum, have the following certifications and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in computing science with demonstrated exposure to successful ERP Systems and Intelligence Reporting. The position requires sound financial based knowledge and acumen and therefore an accounting designation or certification will be an asset.
  • Agile project management experience, with emphasis on design and implementation of systems implementation and evolution and demonstrated competency with control structures and integrations frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and various DB systems with demonstrated competencies in data analytics and metrics design and evolution.
  • Significant exposure to batch processing functionality and systems integrations development and deployment. Experience with ERP systems will be an asset.
  • Proven ability to be a part of various teams with multifunction composition and evolving dynamics.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Health benefits that meet or exceed industry standards will be provided after a 3-month probationary period.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the design, development, configuration and implementation of various financial and administrative applications and processes.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of test plans for new ERP processes, applications components, and processes.
  • Documentation and analysis of existing processes and the identification of improvement, automation, and integration opportunities.
  • Deliver training and provide mentorship to administrative resources in support of process improvement and systems deployment efforts.
