Job Description

You will work across strategic and tactical aspects of recruitment collaborating a Centre of Excellence Model. No two days will be the same and your varied day will include:

  • Developing and implementing creative sourcing strategies to find, attract and secure a wide range of talent to meet business current and future requirements and projects across D&I, EVP, candidate experience and employer branding
  • Coaching hiring managers and focusing on building recruitment capability
  • Collaborating across centres of excellence, providing recommendations on process improvements to enhance the candidate experience
  • Managing third party supplier partnerships
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, collaborating with the business and to developing solid working relationships across the People and Culture teams and Hiring Managers
  • Be the subject matter expert SME for Talent Acquisition / Recruitment within portfolios
  • End to end delivery of recruitment
  • Creating and maintaining talent pipelines for volume, business critical and hard to fill roles
  • Strong focus on diversity in recruitment supporting female and indigenous hiring across non-traditional roles
  • Managing and championing the Talent Acquisition technology stack (ATS Smart Recruiters) and processes

Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate human resources professional, who is curious and open to driving process improvement. You will have strong stakeholder management skills, ability to influence as well as manage expectations and have a proactive and pragmatic problem-solving approach. You will want to create a positive experience for all candidates and provide high-level business partnering support to our hiring managers through all stages of the recruitment and on boarding process and beyond. Ideally, your experience will include blue-collar/ industrial or manufacturing environments. Whilst demonstrated experience with end-to-end recruitment and initiating strategies around direct and passive sourcing of high-level technical talent would be beneficial, if you have the right mindset and drive it is not essential. To be successful in this roe you will have the following;

  • Experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Transport and high-volume recruitment, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • An established track record of using unconventional methods to identify, attract and secure talent
  • Experience within an internal recruitment team will be highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • A strong customer service focus with a sincere effort with candidate care and professionalism
  • Previous experience using Smart Recruitment platform will be highly regarded
