As a Senior Tax Accountant in a renowned Australian firm, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the financial futures of their clients while making an enduring impact on their businesses. With your expertise in tax preparation and intricate knowledge of the latest Australian tax regulations, you’ll be instrumental in guiding our client’s stakeholders through complex financial landscapes. From preparing tax returns to reconciling financial statements, your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring our client’s success.

QUALIFY FOR SUCCESS: KEY CRITERIA FOR NUMBER-CRUNCHING PROS!

• Accounting degree or a related degree with a major in accounting
• Completion of or working towards completion of CA / CPA
• Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting and taxation experience within Australia
• Thorough understanding of Australian taxation legislation, including but not limited to GST, FBT, CGT, Division 7A
• Strong commercial acumen paired with sound technical accounting and analytical skills
• Ability to identify issues and communicate effectively and efficiently
• Experience with MYOB, Xero, Reckon, QuickBooks
• Experience with Reckon APS program (desirable)
• Proficient English writing and verbal skills
• Excellent communication skills with strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
• Collaborative team player who understands the importance of building strong internal relationships across the wider Findex business
• Ability to meet productivity and turnaround metrics
