Description:

Mimecast is seeking a passionate and detail oriented Senior Tax Analyst to support the execution of our global strategic tax initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of International Tax in London, the Senior Tax Analyst will be primarily responsible for executing Mimecast’s international planning and transfer pricing policies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitoring permanent establishment positions as well as documenting existing positions;
  • Managing applications for certificates of residency for non-US entities;
  • Research and communicate global legislative and regulatory changes; assess and discuss with the tax team on any impact to Mimecast’s operations and tax strategy;
  • Be the first point of contact for external service providers to share requested information and review tax computations for income tax compliance outside of North America.;
  • Assist in advising business partners on tax considerations of geographic expansion plans / assist with implementing new transfer pricing and/or structuring as appropriate;
  • Manage global intercompany agreements, partnering with legal, external advisors local finance teams;
  • Assist in non-US tax audits, including responding to non-US income tax notices;
  • Coordinate non-US tax matters on cross-functional initiatives with other departments;
  • Assist with preparation of Mimecast Group effective tax rate forecast;
  • Assist in Country-by-Country Reporting modelling;
  • Preparation of one-off transfer pricing documentation and initial review of externally prepared transfer pricing documentation;
  • Oversee global transfer pricing calculations on a monthly / quarterly basis;
  • Maintain transfer pricing compliance calendar;
  • Manage / Assist in special projects as required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years tax experience, at a multi-national corporation or tax consulting practice equivalent;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Knowledge / experience in international tax;
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new technology;
  • Impressive organizational skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly, accurately, and reliably to all partners.
  • Desirable: Qualified ACCA or CPA or in the process of obtaining certification. Working knowledge / experience of transfer pricing.
