Job Description
Delivery Hero is building the next generation global online food-ordering platform. Our awesome international team already operates in over 50 countries worldwide to ensure hungry customers get to their favorite takeaway food the fastest way possible. Europe Region comprises of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Czech and Hungary united under the Foodora brand, as well as Turkey under Yemeksepeti brand. The company has grown from its inception in 2011 to become the world’s largest food-ordering network.
We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Specialist – Compliance to join our Europe Regional Tax team in Berlin/ Vienna / Stockholm/ Budapest. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work in a leading multinational tech company that is shaping the future of work.
You will assist Europe Head of Tax with driving regional projects and be in close collaboration with the Finance and Legal teams in the local countries. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, a great communicator and good at “getting things done”.
As a Regional Senior Tax Specialist in Europe, you will build and maintain a strong bridge between business and local- & central teams to drive the development of exciting products and features that enhance the user experience

YOUR HEROIC SKILLS

• You have completed your tax or financial studies
• Ideally you are a qualified tax advisor in one of Europe Region countries or on your way to become one
• You have 5+ years of experience in international tax, especially within the EU, and have acquired and developed a basic understanding and interest in this area.
• You are a strategic thinker and possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and solve complex tasks in a legally accurate yet pragmatic and timely manner.
• You possess strong communication skills combined with the right level of negotiation skills and assertiveness.
• You are characterized by excellent self-organization, independence, a high level of commitment and a healthy approach to change and challenges.
• You have a strong business focus.
• In-house working experience in a multinational company or working experience in a Big 4 or other internationally recognised advisory firm.
• Interdisciplinary ability to understand diverse topics of a global corporate environment.
• You are fully proficient in English, other languages are a plus.
