About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join the technical services team supporting the School of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick.
Reporting to the Teaching Laboratory Manager, the postholder will be tasked with leading technical staff in the preparation of materials and equipment for the delivery of laboratory-based support for practical classes to ensure that our undergraduates receive an excellent experience, awakening their excitement for careers in the life sciences domain.
The postholder will be expected to liaise with academic laboratory leads, laboratory coordinators and the student support team, under the direction of the teaching laboratory manager, to deliver a successful outcome.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of the delivery of a complex technical service to busy teaching laboratories. The postholder should also be able to contribute to a robust health and safety management system, working closely with the teaching laboratory manager and the local H&S team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity as the school embarks on an ambitious curriculum review allowing the post-holder the opportunity to contribute to developments surrounding practical teaching of undergraduates.
