Engineer Responsibilities:
- Prepare design specifications, calculations, and drawings.
- Responsible for structural design efforts incorporating our products.
- Undertake structural design, coordinate reviews and local engineer stamps, and assist in reviewing designs by other engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Utilize CAD to create engineering drawings, ensuring document consistency.
- Review structural drawings and drawings from other disciplines.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Collaborate with various multi-discipline customers to determine solutions for design and construction issues.
- Prepare design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering drawings for building structures.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Stay up to date with building codes and bylaws.
- Work autonomously and collaborate with a team of professionals.
- Improve efficiency and automation for role-related responsibilities.
The successful candidate has:
- Experience in project management and process development is essential to the success of this position.
- Licensing with APEGA.
- 5+ years of industry-specific experience.
- A degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in drafting software, including AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Excellent general computer skills, including MS Office.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- The ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with various construction methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $145,000 to $158,000 depending on experience.
