You’re one of those people who’s always got their head in the clouds, or rather, the cloud. We love that about you! You’re passionate about empowering organizations to collaborate, innovate, and achieve more with Microsoft 365. You help businesses unlock the full potential of the platform, streamlining workflows with intelligent automation, boosting productivity with integrated apps, and ensuring a secure, seamless experience for today’s hybrid workforce. Most importantly, you know that no project is complete without the four “ty’s": stability, integrity, efficiency, and security.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Team Lead, Identity and Productivity.
  • Champion change within the team to support our culture of continual improvement.
  • Design, build, test and maintain enterprise technology automation and integration scripts that address complex process flows.
  • Lead the documentation of your team’s environment considering all stages of operation, operating procedures, and disaster recovery.
  • Strategically assess organizational needs and design solutions using the power of Microsoft 365 (for example Copilot and the Viva suite)
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all areas of identity lifecycle management (Entra), third-party SSO integrations, and proactive security alerting.
  • Lead the health monitoring of our core workloads to enable proactive alerting and escalations.
  • Make sure that any changes to the system and application are created, checked, and applied in an environment with good controls. Before making any significant changes, you should also conduct proofs of concept to test the feasibility and impact of the proposed solutions.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of standards for design, technical architecture, capacity planning, security processes, and modernization of the AMA workplace.
  • Listen and understand customer business and technology challenges and offer recommendations based on the Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Act as the escalation point in major system issue resolution, responding to and action issues identified by monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Actively participate in collaboration with other IT teams to understand and meet technical/functional system requirements.
  • Evaluate, design, and implement new products, tools and technology that could address both known and unknown organizational needs.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in an appropriate field like Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in relevant application systems analysis, implementation, support and development.
  • You have experience in network, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Teams, Exchange, Azure, Intune, DevOps, system monitoring, and scripting.
  • You have a proven track record working with cloud, hybrid infrastructures, productivity, and security technologies. Skilled in proactively monitoring system health and performance to identify potential issues before they become critical.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, for both technical and business issues.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Applied Skills credentials are paramount. Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and Viva platforms, as evidenced by the Microsoft Copilot Academy and the Microsoft Copilot for Security Ninja program, is highly advantageous. Additionally, proficiency in Agile methodologies (Lean, SCRUM, Kanban), along with security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSEC, and/or Security+ will enhance a candidate’s qualifications. Networking certifications further complement this robust skill set.
