Description:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualification in biomedical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, and or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in the design and development of health technology prototypes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- For the senior role, strong project management skills and experience working with senior stakeholders is required. Experience in 3D printing management is desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist engineering system support for the IASB prototyping facility.
- Engage in the design and build of prototypes, working closely with researchers, clinicians, and students.
- Manage and operate prototyping equipment, ensuring efficient laboratory operations.
- Offer technical support and training to staff and students.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
- For the senior role, contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of facilities.
