Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager to lead assurance, development and delivery pathways of all engineering and technical aspects of one of our landmark Pumped Hydro Energy Storage (PHES) projects. This is a permanent full time position based out of our South Bank office in Brisbane. As our technical SME you will own and lead the assurance of all client-side technical and engineering tasks, ensuring quality, efficiency and adherence to timelines and budgets.
The ability to optimise the business case of projects through assurance of the value engineering process will be essential. The ability to engage in the commercial and technical aspects of Owner’s Engineer, reference design, EPC, CTA and O&M contract tender and negotiation processes, including tender response reviews and development and negotiation of employer’s requirements and performance guarantees will be essential.
Due to the nature of this role, we require the successful candidate to have significant experience in the renewable energy sector as a technical SME for PHES projects.
