POSITION OBJECTIVES
United Martine Trading (UMT) is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Technical Manager to be part of our Logistical Team to bring about dynamism in our processes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be familiar and knowledgeable with prevailing Regulatory Documentations
- Proficient in MS Office associated software
- 4 – 6 Years’ experience in the maritime industry preferably related to vessel operations and/or data analytics

Responsibilities:
- Daily and timely reports made to Company Board of Directors regarding all operations and provision of updates to ensure smooth and efficient running of the Company’s Fleet of Tankers
- Planning of optimum quantity of bunkers for assigned vessels and execution of activities associated with vessel maintenance, dry-docking, repairs etc.
- For Current Fuel Procurement, you will be in charge of marine services to develop reports to analyse fleet consumption and global bunker pricing trends on a very regular basis so as to guide decision making for risk management and procurement of marine fuels
- Able to continuously provide work plans which are dynamic to ensure that all vessels comply and meet Client requirements on top of provision of timely Reports to all parties involved
- Work in tandem with Fleet Management Team to collate and coordinate information for vessel running cost budget as well as ensuring strict guidelines and adherence to vessel OPEX
- Daily reporting and monitoring of vessel performance trends
- Preparation of vessel inspection by PSC, Flag, Oil Major and other parties, and ensuring that all issues that affects vessel commercial operation be reported and resolved promptly.
- Utilise Risk Assessment System to manage associated risks of shipboard procedures and operations
