ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Senior Product Manager for our brand new API Gateway product, you’ll be the driving force behind its success. You’ll leverage your technical expertise to lead a cross-functional team in building this greenfield product from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for creating the product roadmap, defining requirements, and execution to bring the API Gateway to market. This new product will level up the experience for both our customers and our internal teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define the product vision and strategy for the API Gateway, aligning it with overall company goals.
• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop and launch the API Gateway.
• Conduct market research and user analysis to understand user needs and inform product decisions.
• Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Design and document product requirements, including data structures and API specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure technical feasibility and implementation of product features.
• Track product performance and analyze user data to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for the API Gateway.
• Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.

What are we looking for?

• Experience working in world-class product organisations, either companies that have reached scale (Google, Microsoft, Uber, Deliveroo, JustEAT) or high growth startups
• Experienced in early product lifecycle development; launching new products, go-to-market and establishing product market fit
• Deep understanding of APIs, data structures, and related technologies
• Experience in B2B SaaS
• Proven experience in product management; creating product strategies and roadmaps, Agile processes, frameworks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Data-driven approach to product management.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with API providers (i.e. Apigee)
• A technical background (Software or Data)
• Working on global SaaS products
