Responsibilities:

  • Leading highly skilled and experienced technical design and development team members in delivering highly performant / scalable / resilient solutions that drive growth and change within the critical Payments Repository platform.
  • Providing deliverables on time and with the quality and coverage expected, to ensure the project’s implementation progresses in a controlled and scheduled manner.
  • Producing a timeline roadmap for the project’s implementation, identifying the tasks, dependencies and responsibilities required to ensure the successful implementation.
  • Release planning in conjunction with the delivery managers.
  • Engage with the Enterprise Release Management process, including Operational Readiness.
  • Creating the required documentation (Implementation Strategy, Implementation Plan, SOLPAC, Control Centre Schedule, etc.) related to the project.
  • Preparing for and managing relevant Go-No Go Decision forums together with all Release related workshops involving activities and dependencies across all work streams.
  • Ensuring the Post Implementation Verification (PIV) requirements for the project have been identified and understood and that the relevant PIV scripts have been developed.
  • Planning and resource management tasks, including tracking of progress and status reporting.
  • Creating contingency and remediation plans for the implementation, to ensure the protection and the minimisation of associated risks associated with Production change.
  • Ensure Senior Implementation Manager / Implementation Manager are kept up to date on relevant issues relating to the implementation.
  • Identify implementation-related risks and issues, monitor mitigation plans and maintain relevant contingency / back-out plans for the implementation
