Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this role is to support the Case Management teams, specifically Technical Managers, by providing up-to-date technical guidance, identifying entitlement review opportunities and strategies for claims management in relation worker’s compensation claims. This position operates in a customer centric environment that focuses on the pro-active management of claims.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in our Melbourne or Burwood office, with flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with the team on solutions to maximise the effectiveness of technical management and support.
- Ensure claims teams achieve performance and KPA targets as set out as part of the performance framework.
- In conjunction with the Legal Manager identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures.
- Proactively drive entitlement review activity in consultation with Technical Managers with an additional focus on forensic review activities.
- Providing technical support to claims teams about the claims management process in line with Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines
- Assisting the claims teams in their achievement of performance measures
- Developing strategic initiatives and procedures to ensure all service, performance and compliance measures are achieved
- Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with organisational compliance with legal, governance and WorkSafe Victoria agent requirements.
- Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed.
- In conjunction with the Legal Manager, identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures
