Job Description
Our leading financial services client is looking for a Senior Technical Specialist to join their team. This is a daily rate contract role offering excellent daily rates.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and architect high-quality software solutions tailored to the finance and treasury functions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
  • Lead the implementation of software projects from conception to deployment, including hands-on coding, review, and integration of components.
  • Work collaboratively with IT and finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of all software solutions to ensure robustness and compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimise existing software applications for improved performance and increased functionality.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to other team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Manage documentation for software designs, implementation details, and operational procedures to ensure continuity and support.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a software designer, architect, and implementor
  • Strong background in software development with expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of financial systems and processes, ideally within a treasury or finance department
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
